Faithful

“For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? - Matthew 6:25 (NASB)
Today as I was listening to the sermon, I was reminded of God's faithfulness in my life and that He will continue to provide for me wherever He leads. Even as I start contemplating God's next step for me in my life, I seriously needed a reminder that He has been faithful in sustaining me throughout the days when I needed Him to provide the most. I have no need to worry about what I will eat or what I will drink and what I will wear because He does provide.

And at this time of my life, I believe that He is again calling me to trust Him that He will lead me through this season of my life.

And I choose to trust in Him.

  1. Hello Matthias,

the problem is that there are many people over the earth who suffer atrociously during years before dying.
In that case the promises of Jesus sound rather hollow, don't they?

I can only hope these poor people will spend a blissful eternity in God's presence.

    Friendly greetings from continental Europe.

  2. Thanks for the comment, but unfortunately, the promises of Jesus go beyond just what I have quoted. If this is the only promise He has made, then I admit, the promise would be hollow if we consider what other people are going through on this earth.
